Structural plan submissions to the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) by a registered Professional Engineer acting as Qualified Person (QP) — from design calculations to permit and completion.
Under the Building Control Act, building works that involve structural elements must be designed by a Qualified Person and the structural plans approved by BCA before a permit to carry out structural works is issued. The QP (Design) prepares the structural design, calculations and drawings and submits them through BCA's online submission system. For larger or more complex projects an Accredited Checker may also need to check the design before submission.
Owners, developers, architects, design-and-build contractors, interior designers and MCSTs. We also handle related submissions such as earth retaining and stabilising structures, PUB works near sewers and LTA submissions.
Project address, scope of works, architectural drawings (if any) and the timeline you are working to.
